◆ Who we are / What we do
The Korean Lawyers for Public Interest and Human Rights(KLPH) is comprised of eight lawyers and two staff members dedicated to ensuring human rights through the law. The KLPH is a non-governmental, non-profit organization and was established on February, 2012 by six lawyers in Seoul, Republic of Korea. We focus on specific areas of the human rights law including disability, sexual orientation and gender identity(SOGI), business and human rights. Also we protect and support the advocacy of human rights defenders. Our mission is to achieve full recognition of human rights including minorities and defend the human rights victims committed by corporations through litigation, legislative advocacy and education.
